"The Dentist Of Jaipur" // a documentary shortfilm by Falk Peplinski
New teeth, dentures or extractions not a problem at all for Pushkar and his old master Pyara Singh. They treat their patients in front of the train station of Jaipur, on the sidewalk under the pure sky.
The short film of filmmaker Falk Peplinski, who has been living in India for three years, is an ironical image-clip for a dentist of its own kind and therefore a homage to the incredibleness of the Indian everyday life.
The film had a big success at fimfestivals in 2006 and 2007.

Crazy illegal items, weapons and creatures withheld at airport security
For any of us that have flown in an airplane, we know that air travel is one of the biggest headaches known to man. In addition to the extraordinarily high ticket prices, most of us also have to pay a luggage fee, along with convenient upgrades, plus the overpriced airport food.
And if you want to check a bag, you’re confined to numerous rules and restrictions to what you can and can’t bring. Of course, with all of the recent terrorist attacks and September 11th, many are skittish about the intentions of other passengers, so the Transportation Security Administration was created in 2001 in order to help secure the airways and ports in the United States. But despite the presence of the TSA, people will still try to smuggle in odd things that are not limited to, but including drugs, animals, bugs, plants, and more.
For example, a woman was stopped in an airport in Melbourne when it was noticed that she was making strange and watery noises. Security then gave her a more detailed pat down and discovered that she have over 51 different kinds of exotic and tropical fish under her clothes in 15 little bags, stored in pockets.
If that wasn’t bizarre enough, a total of eighteen severed heads were discovered in shipment at O’Hare in Chicago, which of course made the media go crazy with the headlines. It was later discovered that the heads were in the process of a legitimate shipment between medical facilities in Rome and Chicago. Talk about people losing their head over something that ended up being legitimate! While you’re on vacation, of course there is always that one souvenir that you can’t resist bringing home with you.
One traveler was out scuba diving and discovered a coral-covered cannonball in the midst of an 18th century shipwreck. Even though the traveler’s intentions were purely innocent, the airport had to shut down and be evacuated, since cannonballs are considered to be explosives.
Then of course people just have to fly with their animals and plants. One man was discovered to have brought 30 dead snakes that were venomous, from his trip to South Korea. Was he trying to bring home a souvenir? Or needed supplies to create a deadly poison? Then a woman was discovered to have packed a (sedated) 2 month old tiger cub in her suitcase. She was arrested and the cub was taken to a sanctuary for tigers. Speaking of animals, a man was also stopped in Los Angeles after an exotic bird flew from his suitcase.
He also had 50 rare orchids as well as hid two monkeys in his pants. And of course, people will try to smuggle drugs in. One guy actually had a real broken legs and managed to create a cast made from eleven pounds of cocaine. He might have been able to have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for the additional cocaine that was found in his bag.
From Dumbo to Star Wars...some of our favourite Hollywood movies are teeming with unlikely racist undertones.
Ethnic stereotypes and the white male hero have been on the silver screen since the dawn of cinema itself, and Alltime10s is here to expose the worst culprits of all.

The Bavarian Forest National Park shelters what is thought to be the most breathtaking top walk in the world.
Located just outside the small town of Neuschönau, the unique creation is the longest tree top walk from all over the globe with over 1300 meters long, bringing the visitors up high to a breathtaking view of the Alps and the German forest.
The main feature that makes visiting this top walk an incredible journey is its design, which resembles a spiral. Visitors can only go by foot and walk their way up to the top – however, this requires a good physical condition. For those who are unable to walk, there is an alternative solution, as they can utilize the recently built elevator.
As the walk goes on, visitors are able to get a better view of the nature surrounding them. Even though being able to observe trees and to observe the Bavarian forest from above is a quite magical experience, the most breathtaking part of the journey is at the end of the top walk. Here, at 44 meters high, not only can visitors enjoy the view of the entire Bavarian Forest National Park, but somewhere near the horizon are the majestic Alps enlightened by the sun, ready to be admired.
The Neuschönau tree top walk can be visited any time of the year. This is considered to be one of the hidden German treasures of the Bavarian Forest and the 44 meters height turn this tree top walk into a unique experience in the middle of nature.

Would you eat in this Poo-Poo & Pee-Pee Themed Restaurant in Taiwan?
It shouldn’t surprise you that one of Taiwan’s most successful theme restaurant franchises is Modern Toilet, a celebration of all objects and substances found in bathrooms. Taiwan, where prison and hospital-themed restaurants have also found success, is no newcomer to extreme eateries.
But Modern Toilet, which has over ten locations in Taiwan and has expanded to Hong Kong, takes everything to a higher level. Upon entering one of Modern Toilet’s most popular locations in crowded shopping district Ximending, Taipei, you’re greeted by a smiling gold-colored, dung-shaped character before you ascend into the dining areas.
Then, you’re transported into a glitzy bathroom universe. Depending on where you’re seated, you may find yourself in a bright room splashed with periwinkle and pink and decorated with shower heads and feces-shaped lights. Or, you might dine in an electric and truly ultra-modern setting complete with neon lights and toilets protruding from the wall. All seats are real toilets (which were or could be at some point functional), and all tables are glass-covered sinks or bathtubs.
Most important, however, is the food, which comes in plates and bowls shaped like miniature tubs, sinks, or, obviously, toilets. Many dishes have added gross-out factors, like curry, the restaurant’s most popular entree, which is served in a toilet. (Use your imagination.) There are also poo-shaped, chocolate-flavored buns, and you have the option of ordering your drinks in urinal shaped cups.
Thai Spicy Chicken, served in a toilet bowl with rice, soup, and a small salad.
These ice cream desserts are served complimentary with each entree!
But Modern Toilet’s most disgusting offerings are its ginormous shaved ice desserts, which are smothered with strange toppings in order to fit their unbelievably unappetizing names. My personal favorite is the “hemorrhoid” ice, which is strawberry flavored.
Hemorrhoid ice, with raisins, marshmallows, mini biscuits, ice cream, strawberry syrup, and assorted jellies and candies.
Poo-poo mascots welcome you. The fun never stops from here on out. :)
The restaurant has 80 toilet bowl seats. The above photo shows the first floor of the resto.
You can bring home a Modern Toilet souvenir to remember this special moment.
A terrifying wooden bridge in China has just been replaced by a glass one. This, the world’s longest glass-bottomed walkway, is located in Shiniuzhai Geopark in Hunan, and spans 300m (984f) and is 180m (590f) above ground. The floor is made of double-layered glass that is 24mm (0.94in), and is reportedly 25 times stronger than regular window glass.
The bridge had previously been made of wood, linking the two peaks of Stone Buddha Mountain, but 11 engineers working 12 hours a day converted it to glass. Previously, you were considered brave if you steeled yourself to cross the wooden walkway; now, with its glass bottom, the bridge is already being referred to as “hero bridge.”
